It combines the rigor of a university education in law with the operationality of a clerk or legal secretary position in a court or law firm.<\/p>\n<h3>Market challenges and career opportunities<\/h3>\n<p>The modernization of African jurisdictions, the digitization of procedures, and the professionalization of clerks create a strong demand for clerks and legal collaborators trained in both the fundamentals of law and digital tools (dematerialized registers, e-justice, electronic signature, legal AI).<\/p>\n<h3>Curriculum pedagogical structure<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Year 1 \u2014 Legal Fundamentals.<\/strong> General introduction to law, civil law (persons, property, obligations), constitutional law, African judicial organization, legal methodology, legal English, professional written communication, legal office automation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Year 2 \u2014 Procedural deepening.<\/strong> Advanced civil law (family, inheritance), general and special criminal law, civil procedure, criminal procedure, OHADA commercial law, OHADA labor law, professional legal English.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Year 3 \u2014 Specialization in clerking and legal careers.<\/strong> Clerk profession and status, management of a registry (hearings, records, archiving), OHADA enforcement methods (seizures, payment orders), notary and bailiffs: interactions with jurisdictions, ethics of legal auxiliaries, e-justice and digitization of jurisdictions, legal AI.
