It encompasses mastery of LAN\/WAN technologies, Cisco routing and switching, optical and radio transmissions, 4G\/5G mobile networks, and IoT, as well as current developments: SDN, NFV, network virtualization, and automation.<\/p>\n<h3>Market challenges and career opportunities<\/h3>\n<p>The massive deployment of fiber optics, the generalization of 5G, the explosion of IoT, and the transformation of operator networks create a sustained demand for network &amp; telecom technicians and engineers.
