The Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Public Law & Administration from UNIVGA is a comprehensive 3-year university program (180 ECTS) that trains operational public lawyers capable of supporting a central administration, a local authority, an international organization, or an NGO on issues of public law, public procurement, public finances, and governance.<\/p>\n

Designed to meet the needs of African administration, local authorities in the process of structuring, and sub-regional organizations (AU, ECOWAS, CEMAC, UEMOA), this training is delivered 100% online. It combines the rigor of a university education in public law with the operational aspects of an administrative officer position.<\/p>\n

The modernization of African states, decentralization, the professionalization of public procurement, and the strengthening of sub-regional organizations create a strong demand for public lawyers and administrative officers. Ministries, local authorities, public agencies, NGOs, and international organizations are actively recruiting.<\/p>\n

Curriculum pedagogical structure<\/h3>\n

Year 1 \u2014 Legal Fundamentals.<\/strong> General introduction to law, civil law (persons, property, obligations), constitutional law, history of law and institutions, legal methodology, legal English, professional written communication, legal office automation.<\/p>\n

Year 2 \u2014 Deepening public law.<\/strong> General administrative law, administrative litigation, public finances (introduction), African and international institutions, general criminal law, legal English for public affairs.<\/p>\n

Year 3 \u2014 Specialization in administration and organizations.<\/strong> Law of local authorities and decentralization, public procurement and African public procurement, civil service and management of public human resources, public international law and African community law (AU, ECOWAS, CEMAC, UEMOA), public governance and the fight against corruption, AI in administration and e-government. The curriculum concludes with a supervised professional thesis, presented orally via videoconference before an academic jury.<\/p>\n

Central or territorial administrative officer, lawyer in local government, public procurement officer, public order officer, legal assistant in international organizations, governance officer in NGOs, research officer in public agencies. Continuation in Master Public Law, Master Public Administration, Master Public Affairs, ENA-equivalent or School of Governance.<\/p>\n
