Le Bachelor of Science (BSc) en Diplomatie & Relations Internationales d’UNIVGA est un cursus universitaire complet de 3 ans (180 ECTS) qui forme des profils polyvalents capables de servir au sein du minist\u00e8re des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, d’une ambassade, d’une organisation internationale, d’une ONG internationale ou d’une entreprise pr\u00e9sente \u00e0 l’international.<\/p>\n

Designed to meet the needs of the African diplomatic administration, sub-regional organizations (AU, ECOWAS, CEMAC, UEMOA), NGOs, and companies engaged in international partnerships, this training is delivered 100% online. It combines the rigor of a university education in international relations with the operationality of a position as an attach\u00e9 or mission officer.<\/p>\n

Africa plays an increasingly important role in global diplomacy (AfCFTA, Security Council, regional mediations, international partnerships). Ministries of Foreign Affairs, embassies, international organizations (UN, AU, OIF, WTO), international NGOs, and major African companies operating abroad are seeking qualified profiles.<\/p>\n

Curriculum pedagogical structure<\/h3>\n

Year 1 \u2014 Legal and historical fundamentals.<\/strong> General introduction to law, constitutional law, history of international relations, diplomatic history of Africa, methodology in political science, international English (goal B1+), written and oral communication, professional office skills.<\/p>\n

Year 2 \u2014 In-depth geopolitical and institutional study.<\/strong> Global and African geopolitics, public international law, international organizations (UN, AU, OIF), international economics, advanced diplomatic English (goal B2), second foreign language (Spanish\/Portuguese\/Arabic), international financial institutions (IMF, WB, AfDB).<\/p>\n

Year 3 \u2014 Specialization in diplomacy and negotiation.<\/strong> Public and economic diplomacy, international negotiation and mediation techniques, international security and peace operations, African community law, embassy management and protocol, AI and digital diplomacy (cyber-diplomacy, digital soft power), international cooperation and development (EU, AFD, BAD, WB, UN agencies). The program concludes with a supervised professional thesis, presented orally via videoconference before an academic jury.<\/p>\n
