Le Bachelor of Science (BSc) en Comptabilit\u00e9, Contr\u00f4le & Audit d’UNIVGA est un cursus universitaire complet de 3 ans (180 ECTS) qui forme des techniciens comptables et assistants d’audit imm\u00e9diatement op\u00e9rationnels en entreprise, en cabinet d’expertise comptable ou en cabinet d’audit. Le programme couvre l’ensemble du cycle comptable, fiscal et de contr\u00f4le de gestion en environnement OHADA, jusqu’aux missions d’audit l\u00e9gal et contractuel.<\/p>\n

Designed to address the shortage of qualified accounting profiles in French-speaking Africa, this training is delivered 100% online. It combines advanced technical mastery of the revised SYSCOHADA and IFRS standards with the transversal skills of the modern profession: use of accounting ERPs, automation of entries, internal control, fraud prevention, and financial reporting in a digitized environment.<\/p>\n

Market challenges and career opportunities<\/h3>\n

Accounting firms, Big Four audit firms, local audit firms, corporate finance departments, and tax administrations are actively recruiting versatile accountants. The digital transition of the accounting function (ERP, digitization of invoices, online tax declarations) further increases demand. Mastery of the revised SYSCOHADA combined with an openness to IFRS opens up national and international opportunities.<\/p>\n

Curriculum pedagogical structure<\/h3>\n

Year 1 \u2014 Accounting and Economic Fundamentals.<\/strong> This first year lays the foundations: OHADA general accounting (mechanisms, current entries, inventory work), introduction to business economics, financial mathematics, descriptive statistics, OHADA commercial law, administrative organization of the company, and professional office automation (advanced Excel and Word).<\/p>\n

Year 2 \u2014 Technical Deep Dive.<\/strong> The second year develops specialized skills: SYSCOHADA advanced accounting, analytical accounting and cost calculation, corporate taxation (VAT, corporate tax, personal income tax, withholding tax), introduction to IFRS standards, internal control and procedures, OHADA company law, payroll and social declarations (CNSS, CNAMGS), and business English.<\/p>\n

Year 3 \u2014 Specialization in Accounting, Control, and Audit.<\/strong> The third year is entirely dedicated to professionalization: legal and contractual audit (methodology, ISA standards), consolidation of accounts in OHADA and IFRS environments, management control and budget management, international taxation and transfer pricing, advanced use of an accounting ERP (Sage, Odoo, SAP), financial reporting and dashboards. The program concludes with the writing of a supervised professional thesis, presented orally via videoconference before an academic jury.<\/p>\n

Career opportunities<\/h3>\n

Upon completion of the program, graduates can aspire to positions such as company accountant, assistant chief accountant, audit assistant in a firm, junior management controller, payroll manager, tax manager, consolidation accountant, or experienced accounting assistant in SMEs. The training also prepares for further studies in Master CCA, Master Audit, or DSCG\/DEC with the ultimate goal of achieving accounting expertise.<\/p>\n
