It combines the rigor of a university education in environmental sciences with the operationality of a position as an environmental officer or CSR officer.<\/p>\n<h3>Market challenges and career opportunities<\/h3>\n<p>Climate change, pressure on natural resources, regulatory requirements (mandatory impact studies), and CSR expectations from international partners create a strong demand for environmental officers and CSR officers. Industries (mining, oil, agriculture), environmental NGOs, consulting firms, public agencies, and major donors (AfDB, WB, AFD) are actively recruiting.<\/p>\n<h3>Curriculum pedagogical structure<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Year 1 \u2014 Scientific and Environmental Fundamentals.<\/strong> Natural sciences (biology, chemistry, geology), general ecology, African ecosystems, mathematics and statistics, introduction to management, written and oral communication, scientific English, professional office software.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Year 2 \u2014 Environmental and Law Deepening.<\/strong> African environmental law, environmental impact assessment (EIA), solid and liquid waste management, water and sanitation, energy and renewable energies, climate and atmosphere, environmental English, GIS (Geographic Information Systems).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Year 3 \u2014 Specialization in Management and CSR.<\/strong> Climate change and adaptation strategies, biodiversity and natural resource management, circular economy and eco-design, CSR and non-financial reporting (GRI, SDGs, IFRS Sustainability), carbon footprint and ecological footprint, financing green projects (climate finance, green funds), AI and the environment (sensors, remote sensing, modeling).
