The program covers development economics, the methodology of granting and monitoring microcredits, the management of a microfinance institution, financial inclusion through mobile money, and social impact assessment.<\/p>\n

Designed to meet the needs of the rapidly expanding sector in Africa (MFIs, savings and credit cooperatives, inclusion fintechs, financial NGOs), this training is delivered 100% online. It combines economic and accounting fundamentals, operational mastery of microcredit (analysis, granting, recovery), knowledge of COBAC\/UMOA regulations, and a deep understanding of mobile money and inclusion fintech ecosystems.<\/p>\n

Curriculum pedagogical structure<\/h3>\n

Year 1 \u2014 Economic and accounting fundamentals.<\/strong> Development economics, OHADA general accounting, financial mathematics, descriptive statistics, banking environment and IMF, OHADA commercial law, organization of cooperatives, and professional office skills.<\/p>\n

Year 2 \u2014 Deepening microfinance.<\/strong> Financial analysis of companies and microenterprises, accounting for MFIs, microcredit methodology (individual and solidarity), portfolio risk management (PAR), mutual savings products, fundamentals of mobile money, taxation of MFIs, and financial English.<\/p>\n

Year 3 \u2014 Specialization in financial inclusion.<\/strong> COBAC prudential reporting for MFIs, evaluation and management of social impact, inclusion fintech and financial innovation, governance of cooperatives and MFIs, partnerships between banks-MFIs-mobile money, agency management and field leadership. The program concludes with the writing of a supervised professional thesis, presented orally via videoconference before an academic jury.<\/p>\n
