In a communication department, the communication assistant participates in communication actions (clients, prospects, partners, employees) and carries out all or part of the technical activities of these operations.<\/p>\n

Most often reporting to the communication and marketing department, thecommunication assistant\u00a0<\/strong>or thecommunication assistant,<\/strong>\u00a0handles numerous tasks: participation and implementation of the communication plan (objectives, budget\u2026), contribution to various internal and external communication projects, creation of communication materials (print and web), participation in logistics and follow-up of corporate events, secretarial and administrative management of the department (organizing meetings, maintaining agendas, writing minutes, reporting\u2026), media relations follow-up.<\/p>\n

The nature of their missions and responsibilities depends on the structure that employs them.<\/p>\n

In smaller companies without a press officer, the communication assistant may participate in the media plan, communicate about special events, write press releases, organize interviews and reports about the company, enrich the press file, the press book, and keep documentation up to date.<\/p>\n

They may also take charge of the company's public relations, manage the press file of institutions and influential individuals, and respond to requests from the public or institutions. In this capacity, they collaborate in drafting presentation files for all or part of the company's activities.<\/p>\n

In internal communication, the communication assistant participates in the editorial secretariat for the development of the company's newsletter, information bulletins, leaflets, or posters.<\/p>\n
