About Course
Entrepreneurship refers to the process of creating, developing, and managing a new economic activity. The entrepreneur identifies an opportunity, mobilizes the necessary resources (human, financial, technological), and takes the inherent risks to transform an idea into a sustainable business.
Entrepreneurial skills apply in many sectors: creating innovative start-ups (tech, green business), taking over family businesses, franchises, or social and cultural projects. Entrepreneurs can also act as intrapreneurs within established organizations, leading diversification or innovation projects.
In the short and medium term, the Gabonese (incubators, public-private support programs) and African ecosystems are strengthening, offering financial aid, training, and mentoring. In the long term, digitalization and ecological transition open new market niches. Social entrepreneurship, fintech, and sustainable agriculture are particularly promising fields.
