The UNIVGA GROUP is a higher education and professional training institution founded in 2019, which has established itself as a pioneering player in online education in Gabon and one of the emerging models of digital education in Africa. Designed from the outset as a university focused on the future, UNIVGA aims to reinvent access to education by leveraging digital technologies, pedagogical innovation, and a resolutely international vision. Through a modern and scalable learning platform, we offer academic and professional programs accessible to students in Gabon, Africa, and around the world, without the traditional constraints of time, mobility, or infrastructure. UNIVGA positions itself as a digital university with an international vocation, welcoming a diversity of students from different cultural, geographical, and professional backgrounds. We continuously develop academic, institutional, and professional partnerships beyond borders, in order to provide our learners with a truly global learning experience. This openness is not just a slogan. It is lived daily: students pursuing their education from Gabon, other African countries, and other continents, teachers and experts intervening remotely, programs designed to remain accessible without requiring travel to a single campus.
A digital school with degree and certification pathways
UNIVGA is a training institution that designs and supports degree and certification pathways for students, employees, professionals, and individuals in career transition. Its offerings combine academic education and professional skills, with a flexible pedagogy allowing for distance learning, both in Gabon and from abroad.
As it has developed, UNIVGA has welcomed learners from many French-speaking African countries, as well as from Europe. This diversity has naturally led the institution to expand its offerings and provide pathways tailored to various profiles, ambitions, and professional contexts.
Depending on the programs, professional certificates and degrees are awarded directly by UNIVGA or in partnership with recognized higher education institutions, academic organizations, and local and international partners. Message from the President
When we envisioned UNIVGA, our ambition was not simply to create an online training institution. We were driven by a deep conviction: distance, professional constraints, or where one lives should never be an obstacle to accessing knowledge and building one's future.
Digital technology today gives us the opportunity to rethink education: an education that is more accessible, more flexible, more open to the world, and more connected to professional realities. This vision guides UNIVGA.
We want to build a true digital university, where pedagogical innovation, technology, artificial intelligence, and international openness serve the success of each learner.

How does a training session proceed ?
At UNIVGA, distance learning is based on a pedagogy that combines flexibility, human support, and practical application.Learners progress through structured content, digital resources, practical activities, and assessments that gradually validate the skills acquired.
Throughout the course, students benefit from the support of teachers, particularly through pedagogical exchanges, videoconferencing sessions, tutorials, and regular monitoring of their progress. The goal is to maintain the flexibility of online learning while ensuring a genuine academic framework.
UNIVGA's pedagogy also places significant emphasis on project-based and experiential learning.Students are encouraged to apply their knowledge to case studies, professional issues, and projects inspired by real-life situations. This approach helps develop concrete skills, beyond mere theoretical mastery of the courses.
For programs requiring the completion of a thesis or final project, students are supported by teachers in choosing the topic, methodology, writing, and preparing for the defense.Defenses are organized remotely, in front of a jury gathered via videoconference.
Thus, the UNIVGA educational experience is based on four essential principles: learning, practicing, being supported, and demonstrating skills, in a digital environment designed to bring training closer to academic and professional realities.
Digital Campus and Digital Library
UNIVGA is not limited to a course platform. The student experience also relies on two complementary spaces: the Digital Campus, dedicated to exchanges and university life, and the Digital Library, thought designed to support learning, research, and academic work.
The Digital Campus
The Digital Campus is the internal social network of the UNIVGA community. It brings together students, teachers, supervisors, and professionals in a single digital environment, in order to recreate a true university life remotely.
Each member can publish, exchange, join groups, share resources, ask questions, and interact with other members of the community.. Students can thus find their peers, follow publications related to their field of study, participate in discussions, or gradually develop their academic and professional network.
The Campus also serves as a privileged access point to the various services of the institution. It extends the learning experience beyond the courses and makes UNIVGA a space where one can learn, collaborate, share, and create connections.

The UNIVGA Digital Library complements the teachings by providing access to a documentary environment designed for study and research.
Learners can consult books, ebooks, teaching manuals, and academic resources aimed at deepening the concepts covered in training and supporting their academic work.
The library also integrates digital tools that facilitate reading and learning, including an intelligent reader, text-to-speech, and various study and research tools.It thus constitutes a reference space for preparing an assignment, documenting a project, deepening a course, or supporting the writing of a thesis.

UMeet
Video conferencing & live collaboration
Meet, teach, and collaborate remotely.
UMeet is UNIVGA's video conferencing platform and the live collaboration laboratory for students and teachers. Accessible from a browser, without installation, it allows you to create and join rooms for classes, group work, meetings, interviews, defenses and other remote educational activities.
It integrates video conferencing, screen sharing, chat, and the tools necessary to facilitate a session: presenting a course, commenting on a document, working with a group, or holding a jury. The environment is hosted and managed by UNIVGA, in order to maintain an academic framework even outside the physical campus.
UMeet serves for live classes, for defenses, for meetings, for group work and to webinars — all situations where people need to meet, teach, and work together remotely, in a space designed for training and not for public use.
UGEO
Geospatial data & geomatics laboratory
Observe, map, and analyze territories.
UGEO is the GIS digital laboratory of UNIVGA, dedicated to geomatics, mapping, spatial analysis, and geographic data. It offers students an online environment to manipulate territorial data as one would in a professional geomatics laboratory.
Students, teachers, and partners can explore data, consult and produce maps, manipulate geospatial layers, and develop applied projects — environment, urban planning, agriculture, natural resources, risks, or land management. The platform supports professional standards such as WMS, WFS, and WMTS, in order to bring training closer to the tools actually used in the field.
We practice GIS, the cartography, the processing of data geographical data, theSpatial Analysis and the territorial projects — from observing a territory to producing a usable map, in a laboratory accessible from the browser, hosted and managed by UNIVGA.
Uffice
UNIVGA Office Suite
Write, calculate, present, and collaborate.
Uffice is the office suite of UNIVGA.It allows authorized members to create and modify documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, store their files, share resources, manage agendas, and organize collective work — all in a digital environment hosted by the institution.
Accessible from the web, computers, and mobile devices, Uffice brings everyday office usage closer to university life: writing a report, preparing a presentation, tracking a project, or collaborating on the same file.
Uffice is thus the online office laboratory for students: an environment to work on data projects and academic productions that require tools like spreadsheets, presentations, or word processing — the equivalent of Excel, PowerPoint, or Word, accessible in the browser as well as on computer or phone, hosted and managed by UNIVGA.
