The University of Michigan-Flint (UM-Flint) is renowned for over six decades of academic excellence, with origins dating back to 1837, when it was initially established as Flint Senior College. Its founding was influenced by Sarah C. Miles Case, a resident of Ann Arbor, and it became a fully recognized institution in 1956. Today, UM-Flint is an important part of the University of Michigan system, alongside its campuses in Ann Arbor and Dearborn.

The National School of Cadastre and Geographic Sciences (ENCSG) is a Gabonese public institution created by law n°13/84, endowed with legal personality and financial autonomy. Located in Trois Quartiers, opposite EL RAPHA, ENCSG is dedicated to training technical personnel in the fields of cadastre, topography, cartography, and geographic sciences in general.
Since its establishment, ENCSG has established itself as a key player in the development of technical skills in Gabon, particularly in sectors related to land use planning, land management, and urban planning.
