The University of Michigan-Flint (UM-Flint) is renowned for over six decades of academic excellence, with origins dating back to 1837, when it was initially established as Flint Senior College. Its founding was influenced by Sarah C. Miles Case, a resident of Ann Arbor, and it became a fully recognized institution in 1956. Today, UM-Flint is an important part of the University of Michigan system, alongside its campuses in Ann Arbor and Dearborn.

The University of Alberta (U of A) is one of Canada’s leading public research universities. Founded in 1908, it is the 5th largest university in Canada, recognized for its academic excellence and progressive research. The University serves a dynamic student body of approximately 46,201 individuals from 159 countries, with a significant international presence enriching the cultural and intellectual fabric of the University. Located in Edmonton, Alberta, the University operates across five distinct campuses: North Campus, South Campus, St. Jean Campus, Enterprise Square, and Augustana Campus. Collectively, these campuses create an environment that fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement.
Academically, the University of Alberta offers a wide range of over 200 undergraduate courses and more than 500 graduate courses. These programs span various disciplines across 18 faculties.
