The University of Michigan-Flint (UM-Flint) is renowned for over six decades of academic excellence, with origins dating back to 1837, when it was initially established as Flint Senior College. Its founding was influenced by Sarah C. Miles Case, a resident of Ann Arbor, and it became a fully recognized institution in 1956. Today, UM-Flint is an important part of the University of Michigan system, alongside its campuses in Ann Arbor and Dearborn.

CQUniversity Australia is one of the largest and most respected universities in the Australian region. Established in 1967 as the Queensland Institute of Technology (QIT) Capricornia, it gained full university status in 1992.
