About CINVU

About CINVU

Considering the need to create appropriate foundations to support development programs for education and research networks based on new information and communication technologies, promote a culture of participation, facilitate cooperation, strengthen relationships, and enhance the level of scientific, educational, research, and technological cooperation and consensus among the elites, thinkers, and scientists of Islamic countries, the Inter-Islamic Network COMSTECH on Virtual Universities (CINVU) was founded in January 2011.

CINVU is an autonomous, apolitical organization with an international approach and under the auspices of the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH). It works towards achieving justice in the field of knowledge and thought and deepening and consolidating learned and educational empowerment, research, culture, and skills of students, professors, universities, and elites of the Islamic world.

Students, professors, universities, and elites through this scientific and academic organization can offer educational, research, cultural, and skills capabilities based on their interests and trends in various scientific fields. In addition to providing access to useful resources, this international scientific and academic organization has enabled the utilization of expertise and experience from other universities by offering a shared online environment.

CINVU is a bridge between students, professors, and universities with an approach to sharing information and resources and supporting online learning methods based on online technology, which is networked with virtual universities of the Islamic world and other countries, as well as continuous communication with twelve networks. COMSTECH has provided a rich platform to achieve the wise and prudent goals of pure Islam in the fields of science, culture, management, economy, medicine, energy, etc.

The Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar of the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has been appointed Secretary General of the CINVU. Visualization of the image of the order of appointment and international appreciation certificates
