It was in the premises of SING SA that the signing of a Partnership between the Gabonese Digital Incubation Company (SING SA), represented by its General Director, Mr. Yannick EBIBIE NZE, and the Private Virtual University of Gabon (UNIVGA), represented by its General Director Mr. Yann MAKOBIANI, took place on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
This partnership between SING SA and UNIVGA aims to develop digital technology in Gabon and to foster national champions on the continent by 2030. The specific objective of this agreement is the collaboration of these two entities to develop joint research, certification, and development projects.
SING SA and UNIVGA will enable startups, Gabonese students, and entrepreneurs to work with major local and international companies and public administrations in order to improve their competitiveness and productivity in their respective markets.
To respond to the structural and cyclical changes in the Gabonese economy, SING SA and UNIVGA wish to redesign and structure the organizational environment of entrepreneurship by promoting new tools that favor entrepreneurial economy in the new economic order.
In general, the two companies have decided:
– To create a pilot project for a Gabonese tourist site in 3D;
– To create and develop a virtual reality platform in Gabon;
– To develop joint actions aimed at promoting the digital economy.
In this same vein, the president of UNIVGA, Mr. Yann MAKOBIANI, announced the creation in the coming weeks of a virtual school dedicated to training in the fields of 3D and video game professions.
He also announced:
– The establishment in collaboration with SING of certification training for SING and its partners;
– The creation of a national certification center for programs from Microsoft, Adobe, Apple, Autodesk, Facebook, EC-Council, PECB, and CompTIA.
– A study abroad orientation center with over 1500 universities.
