Last updated : August 22, 2026
These general terms of use (hereinafter " GTU ") describe the rules applicable to the use of the site univga.org, the learning campus, the account, internal messaging, the digital library, and associated applications or subdomains (hereinafter " the Platform ").
By navigating the Platform or creating an account, the user acknowledges having read the present GTU. The registered Learner also acknowledges the general terms and conditions of sale and the page Privacy policy.
1. Presentation
The Platform is published and managed by GROUPE UNIVGA, Virtual University of Gabon, BP 3349, Nzeng-Ayong, Libreville — Gabon. The publication director is Yann MAKOBIANI, President-CEO.
For any questions, complaints, or access difficulties, write to bureau@univga.org or call +241 77 28 34 18. UNIVGA strives to respond within 48 working hours.
2. Subject and opposability
The Terms of Use set the conditions for access to the Platform by any visitor and any registered user (learner, teacher, partner, staff). UNIVGA may adapt the Platform and these Terms of Use to comply with the law or improve the service. The applicable version is the one published at the time of use. In case of substantial modification, UNIVGA will inform registered users by email or via the campus.
Continuing to use the Platform after the publication of a new version constitutes acceptance, unless a written objection is sent before the effective date. In this latter case, access to reserved areas may be terminated at the end of the current registration.
3. Registration and Account
3.1 Capacity
The user declares that they have the capacity to contract. An account for a minor requires the consent of the legal representative when the law requires it. UNIVGA's training programs are primarily aimed at adults and young people in higher or vocational education.
3.2 Account Creation
Consultation of public pages is free. Access to the campus, courses, exams, and official documents requires an account and, where applicable, a validated registration. When creating the account, the user provides true, accurate, and up-to-date information and chooses a personal password.
UNIVGA recommends a password of at least 8 characters, combining letters, numbers, and a special character, and distinct from identifiers used on other sites. In case of loss, the 'Forgot Password' function allows generating a new one. For any difficulties, contact bureau@univga.org.
3.3 Personal Nature of Access
Identifiers are strictly personal. Any activity carried out with these identifiers is deemed to be performed by the account holder, unless proven otherwise. Account sharing, transfer of access, or use by a third party is prohibited. In case of unauthorized use, the user must notify UNIVGA without delay.
3.4 Updating Information
The user updates their email, phone number, and address when they change. UNIVGA cannot be held responsible for the consequences of outdated information (non-receipt of a notice, result, or document).
4. Platform Features
Depending on the user's status and the subscribed course, the Platform may allow to:
- consult the catalog, training sheets, and news;
- create an account, follow a pre-registration, and pay fees;
- access courses, resources, assignments, and exams on the campus;
- communicate with teachers and the office via internal messaging;
- participate in virtual classes or online laboratories;
- consult the digital library and, where applicable, the bookstore;
- track progress, grades, and official documents.
UNIVGA may evolve, group, or remove a feature, as long as the subscribed Service remains usable as a whole. Some functions (laboratories, videoconferences, mobile applications) may require updated equipment or a browser.
5. Authorized and Prohibited Uses
The Platform is intended for training, educational support, and university services. It is notably prohibited to:
- copy, extract, scrape, or redistribute courses, exams, manuals, or databases without permission;
- bypass access controls, test security outside authorized frameworks, or attempt to access others' data;

- use the Platform for commercial solicitation, spam, or political or religious proselytism;
- impersonate another user or the institution;
- introduce a virus, robot, or any device likely to degrade the service.
Any violation may result in a warning, access restriction, academic exclusion, or reporting to the authorities, depending on the severity.
6. Educational Content
The resources provided remain the property of UNIVGA or their holders. Access is granted for personal and educational use during the enrollment period. Any reproduction for commercial purposes or public sharing is prohibited.
The content may be updated for educational, technical, or regulatory reasons. An update does not constitute a violation as long as the objectives of the course remain achievable.
7. Artificial Intelligence
The use of AI tools is permitted only within the framework set by each module. A significant contribution from an AI tool must be reported and cited. AI cannot be used to commit fraud, plagiarize, or circumvent an assessment. Instructors specify the permitted or prohibited uses. Any violation is subject to the sanctions provided by the academic regulations.
8. Communications
The internal messaging system of the Platform is the preferred channel for educational exchanges and sensitive requests. Requests for official documents or confidential information are only processed through institutional channels (bureau@univga.org or the campus), and not via WhatsApp, Facebook, or a personal messaging service of a collaborator, unless confirmed otherwise in writing.
Users are prohibited from disclosing personal or academic data of others. Collaborative spaces (forums, comments) are moderated. UNIVGA may remove any content that is clearly illegal or contrary to these Terms of Use.
9. Availability and Maintenance
UNIVGA strives to ensure continuous access. However, interruptions may occur (maintenance, updates, hosting incidents, network outages). Unless otherwise required by law, a temporary interruption does not entitle users to compensation. UNIVGA makes efforts to inform users in case of foreseeable prolonged unavailability.
10. Suspension and Closure
In case of a violation, UNIVGA may warn, restrict access, or close the account after review and, unless in an emergency (security, fraud, serious harm), inform the user. Closure does not erase existing obligations (fees owed, academic rules, retention of copies and diplomas).
At the end of the enrollment, access to the courses may be revoked. It is the Learner's responsibility to export, during the access period, any personal documents they wish to keep, within the limits of the rights granted.
