In order to implement the Executive Mechanism for Cooperation in Education, Research, and Scientific and Technological Transfer, the Secretary General of CINVU met with the Head of the IORA Regional Center for Scientific and Technological Transfer.
According to the CINVU Public Relations Report, Dr. Karim Najafi Barzegar, Secretary General of CINVU, during this meeting, expressed his willingness for cooperation between this international organization and the Regional Center for Science and Technology Transfer of IORA and examined the existence of extensive links between CINVU and the elites, thinkers, professors, and universities of the Islamic world to be effective in utilizing the vast capacities of education, research, and scientific and technological cooperation, referring to the mission of this international organization in knowledge transfer and providing intelligent online education considered as the transfer of science and technology aimed at strengthening human capacities and scientific multilateralism as the basis for joint cooperation.
Dr. Mohammad Reza Sanjabi, Head of the Regional Center for Scientific and Technological Transfer of IORA, during this meeting, also mentioned the capabilities of this union and expressed readiness to conclude a cooperation protocol for the transfer and sharing of bilateral education, scientific and technological research capabilities.
The Indian Ocean Rim Association - IORA - which started in 1997, has 21 members, including Iran, Australia, India, South Africa, Indonesia, and Malaysia, as well as seven dialogue partners, including the United States, England, France, Germany, China, Egypt, and Turkey. This union has various specialized agencies, including the Regional Center for Science and Technology Transfer of IORA, hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran. The IORA Regional Center for Scientific and Technological Transfer, as an inter-regional specialized agency, occupies a special place in the implementation and promotion of the objectives of scientific and technological diplomacy and in the expansion of international cooperation networks in knowledge.
It is worth mentioning that CINVU is one of the Networks affiliated with – COMSTECH – the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This International Organization is a knowledge and capability hub, striving to expand public higher education based on smart technology with the aim of justice, deepening and reliability of knowledge and thought, and education, research, cultural empowerment, and skills of the Islamic World.
