The Virtual University of Gabon elected as a member of the Executive Committee of CINVU

On the first day of the Third General Assembly of the Network of Virtual Universities of the Islamic World, organized on May 11 and 12, 2022, by Allameh Iqbal University of Pakistan, representatives from universities in Chad, Turkey, Indonesia, Gabon, Pakistan, Syria, and Iran were unanimously elected as new members of the Executive Committee of the International Scientific and Academic Organization.

The’Virtual University of Gabon, represented by its President Mr Yann MAKOBIANI  Argue for recovery or liquidation before the competent jurisdictionVirtual University of Chad, represented by Dr Daouda Ahmat Mahamat , were elected by their peers as members of the Executive Committee of CINVU (Comstech Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities). They occupy the 2 seats reserved for Africa.

According to CINVU's public relations, during this international event, leaders and senior representatives from universities, scientific institutes, and higher education from 57 Islamic countries, including Payame Noor University, University of Religions and Denominations, University of Tehran, Farabi Campus, University of Tehran, Kowsar University of Iran, Sistan and Baluchestan University, Shahid Beheshti University, Applied Science University, Imam Khomeini University, North University, University of Religions, University of Sciences and Education of the Holy Quran, Imam Sadegh University, Al-Mustafa University, University of Sciences and Technologies, Iranian University of Medical Sciences, Virtual University of Medical Sciences, Islamic Azad University, University of the Quran and Hadith, Tolo Mehr University, Anadolu University of Turkey, Open University of Indonesia, Virtual University of Gabon, Virtual University of Chad, Khatam Al-Nabieen University of Afghanistan, Health Sciences University of Bangladesh, Virtual University of Burkina Faso, Virtual University of Côte d'Ivoire, University of Syria, Virtual University of Tunisia, Virtual University of Malaysia, Virtual University of Mali, University of Jordan, Mediterranean University of Cyprus, and Charkh-e-Niloufri Higher Education Institute, Zabdegan Educational Institute, etc. Together, they strengthened scientific, pedagogical, research, and teacher-student exchanges. Virtual University of Tunisia, Virtual University of Malaysia, Virtual University of Mali, University of Jordan, Mediterranean University of Cyprus, and Charkh-e-Niloufri Higher Education Institute, Zabdegan Educational Institute, etc. Together, they strengthened science, education, research, and teaching - student exchanges. It should be noted that CINVU is one of the networks of the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which is hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran. This network is an important and rich base for strengthening and developing public higher education in the virtual context of information technologies, aiming to achieve justice in the field of knowledge and thought and to deepen and consolidate learning and educational empowerment, research, cultural and skills of students, professors, universities, and elites.
